There are a lot of ways to make a greater sense of happiness in your life, but one of the barest and most powerful is by giving to others. Why does giving happiness to others make you feel more pleased? You minimize your own difficulties. Centering on what you are able to do it for people in need is a great way to put your own problems into linear perspective. Naturally we be given to amplify our own problems and think they are much worse than they really are – but encountering somebody who is experiencing even greater disputes sure changes that prospect quickly!
